GamayVallée D’Aoste DOC
Originally from Burgundy, this variety adapts well to our territory’s climate and altitude which ranges between 700 and 800 mt asl and is characterised by steep, sun exposed slopes.
As a single varietal wine it is balanced, bright ruby red with a fruity bouquet that has a pronounced stawberry scent. It is delicate but also complex and intense with fresh, delicate tannins.
Great pairing with local cured meats, particularly lard, motzetta and salami but also with a traditional mountain soup.
